16th January. The night before is the night known as Noche de Antruejos (Night of the Antruejos), when it was a popular custom to dress up in fancy dress. On this day, the associations and the City Council invite people to taste wine, liqueurs, typical sweets and “migas extremeñas”, with drummers from Plasencia providing the entertainment. The “San Fulgencio” prizes are awarded.
