Description
La Pitarra del Gordo is a typical Extremaduran tavern located in the centre of Plasencia, under the arcades of the Plaza Mayor.
In this establishment you can taste the famous pitarra wines, accompanied by the most varied Iberian tapas such as ham, chorizo or pork loin, not forgetting the black pudding and cheeses in oil from the Pueblo del Abuelo.
From its terrace you can enjoy the best views of the Plaza Mayor. They also have a tapas room where you can try, among other dishes, the famous “Grillada del Gordo”, made with the finest Iberian pork from Extremadura.
